Hi, I’m Shannon Spark

Established in 2020, Shannon Spark Salon is the brainchild of a seasoned hairdresser, whose love for the craft started in 1986 in Country Victoria. With decades of experience in the industry, the founder bought her first salon shortly after qualifying and ran it for four years before moving to Melbourne to teach hairdressing at the prestigious Melbourne College of Hair and Beauty.

Following a successful stint in education, the founder led a fulfilling career as an SP Consultant/Trainer at Wella, travelling all over NSW to provide salon training and educational seminars. In 2000, she became a consultant for Loreal Professional, looking after NSW and eventually going interstate. During her tenure, she met a lot of salon owners, hairdressers, educators, and sales managers, who inspired her and enriched her knowledge of the industry.

In 2006, the founder started a family and opened her first salon in Sydney called Kidz Lidz. This unique salon catered to children and families and has since been renamed as Kiddly Winx and has been a trusted salon for children for 18 years.

Shannon Spark Hair Salon offers an elegant space for the sophisticated and classy residents of the eastern suburbs. The founder aimed to create a salon that would be a destination for people looking for high-quality hairdressing services.

It looked so inviting from the outside. The owner, Shannon, is absolutely lovely and elegant. She told me they usually work by appointment, but she was kind enough to fit me in this Saturday morning. So glad she did! The salon has such a good vibe - it's chic but also really welcoming. My stylist was a gem! She did an incredible job on my hair. Couldn't be happier! I done the worst mistake of my life and thought dying my hair myself was a good idea “definitely wasn’t”!! My long nice hair burnt off snapping at the shoulders and clumps coming out in my hand obviously the scariest thing ever !! However now you would never know that happened 4 hours later I walked out like nothing happened and I absolutely love it!! I also got to say the salon is beautiful very open getting all the natural light and you can even see the ocean. Best place to have your hair done in Sydney Here’s my before and after!

She transformed my life (not kidding) by taking me back to blonde effortlessly and without damage. My hair was previously chemically damaged from another salon, and in precarious condition, but Shannon brought it back to life with her skill and precision.
